By creating an account, subscribing, or using Ornis ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Ornis is an AI-powered design review and feedback tool that works as a Figma plugin. It provides design reviews, copy suggestions, heatmaps, and inspiration using leading pro AI models (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini). The Service is offered as a hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with Free and Pro (paid) plans. We host and operate the Service; you access it via the web dashboard and the Figma plugin.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account or use it for more than one person or entity. You may register using email/password or sign-in with Google, Microsoft, or Zoho, subject to those providers' terms.
We offer a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Pro features and limits are described on our pricing page and in the dashboard.
Pro subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider, Dodo Payments. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in the currency shown at checkout. We may change prices with reasonable notice; continued use after a price increase constitutes acceptance.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period; after that, your account will move to the Free plan. We do not provide refunds for partial periods. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis where required by law.
If a payment fails, we may retry and will notify you. Continued failure may result in downgrade to Free or suspension of Pro access until payment is updated.
You may use the Service only for lawful design and product work, within your plan limits. You agree not to:

Ornis and its branding, product, and technology are owned by us or our licensors. This agreement does not grant you any ownership of our IP. You retain ownership of your designs and content. You grant us a limited license to use, process, and store your content as necessary to provide the Service (e.g. sending frames to our AI for review).
The Service relies on third-party services, including:
Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or actions.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Design content and context you send for AI review are processed to provide the Service and as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. AI OUTPUTS ARE FOR ASSISTANCE ONLY AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORNIS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ornis and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We do not refund fees for the remainder of a billing period after termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or a notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ornis regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India, except where prohibited.
